King by MechanicalPumpkin King by MechanicalPumpkin
Next in the card series, the king. I did the Queen of Hearts for the last one, cliche as it is, so to prevent this from being a total joke I made him the King of Clubs not Diamonds.

I love this series! The smooth vector curves really work for playing card designs :)

If he's the king of clubs...why does he have a sword?

Mostly because it fits nicely, but also because I'm loosely referencing these from a deck of cards that I own, and all the Kings are shown weilding swords with the exception of the King of diamonds who has an axe. I don't know if the sword thing is universal among other card decks, but at the very least it seems more kingly than a club.

It is more kingly, but possibly less satisfyingly bludgeon-y, and when you're that angry, don't you just wanna hit things? ;)

Oh you don't need to try and convince me that mace/bludgeoning weapons are way cooler, I am definitely a crush'em kinda guy :P
