Just over a year ago I made a Harlequin picture of a jester i dubbed Idle Hands. I guess this is what you might call new and improved.

Im also entering this in the annual art contest at my college. There are 3 categories: Traditional 2D art, 3d sculpture, and Photo/Digital. I think its shit that I hafta compete against photographers and photomanipulators but what can you do? Winner gets $50 (better than nothing) and better yet have their work published, as well as get their own show in the student gallery.

On a side note, because so many people are wishing me luck in the contest, it was 2 years ago... and not only did I not win, but this didnt even warrant a spot in the gallery. I was beat out by photography :(

Photo and Digital should be in their own categories... but what can one do? This is lovely though... I like to colours a lot

Thank you for commenting :D . I've always thought Black and pink/purple make one of the most wicked combinations.

And yeah, I wont win because someone will have put a filter affect or something lame like that on a photo, and the judges will droolgasm all over it. But I figure its worth a shot anyway.

Wow that's beautiful. The hair is amazing! Curved lines always give me problems with the pen tool. Yours are so smooth!! I love the way all the colours have a black outline to them. :+fav:

Ugh i love your art. Its so shiny and the lines..its just..yum. I wish I could dot hat sort of thing, but Id have no clue how to begin. And I love the tones you choose, and the smile is a weee bit creepy. And never say money is better then nothing! Its your art, you spend time on it. You wouldnt hand fifty bucks to a car mechanic and go "its better then nothing dude' would you? XD But good luck never the less! Your style is different, they always love different. Unless you go to a christian school.

I got it printed at the UPS store on semi gloss paper, and its one of the sexiest things ive ever seen, so pair that with its awesomeness and it definately stands out. When I dropped it off and saw some of the other submissions I almost had to laugh, cuz people had submitted what looked like self portraits that they drew in kindergarden with crayons.

I really wanted to work more with that moth, and that huge empty space in the top left corner, but I comletely ran out of steam and died :lmao:
Thanks man, If I win we are going to Wendy's, and Im buying 50 Jr bacon cheeseburgers :P
